China is a global leader in the production of precious metals; it was the top producer of gold and the third largest of silver in 2007. China’s continuing importance to the silver market is abundantly evident as it continues to not only produce more silver, but also consume more silver as well.
With the global economy facing many challenges in its financial markets, silver investment and its use in industrial applications continues to rise, despite a dramatically higher silver price. Still, there are many challenges and opportunities in the silver market, and from an international scope, the China International Silver Conference is your best venue to learn about the role of silver in this key market, and how to get involved in this important market.

The China International Silver Conference(CISC)enters its 7th year in 2008. This annual conference is sponsored by the China Non-ferrous Metals Industry Association, China Chamber of Commerce of Metals Minerals & Chemicals Importers and Exporters, Gemological Association of China, China General Chamber of Commerce and The Silver Institute. Beijing Antaike Information Development Co., Ltd and CNIA-Gold and Silver Branch will serve as the organizers of this conference.
